First Item Ordered at Apple Store Philippines

Finally! dumating na rin ang pinaka unang item na inorder ko sa Apple Store Philippines! At ang masaya ay hindi na ako nag bayad ng tax sa customs pag dating ng inorder ko. Hindi tulad ng binili ko sa HP.com dati, may 50 tax na… 50% ng worth ng binili kong item ang binayad ko sa mga hampas lupang taga customs. Pero yung first order ko sa HP.com walang bayad. Try ko ulit mag order sa Apple for the second time if sisingilin na ako ng customs. Pero sa palagay ko, wala naman silang isisingil, kasi hindi naman nilalagay ng Apple ang receipt sa package. Ini e-mail ng Apple ang receipt. Kaya wais at astig ang Apple!

Kahit hindi nag update on-time and DHL ng tracking service nila, dumating naman yung item on-time, as promised by Apple Store Philippines!

Thanks Apple for a tax-free item delivered in my doorstep. Thanks also sa DHL for an on-time delivery! Yay!

    Cool! Umorder din ako online ng MBP sa Apple Philippines Store. Medyo natatakot ako na masingil ng customs duties kase medyo mahal yung item. Dineliver ba ng DHL sayo sa bahay niyo mismo? Or kinailangan mo pang pumunta ng post office to claim the item gaya ng books na inoorder ko from amazon? Salamat po!

    Thanks for sharing! Did you get around buying your second item from the Apple Store Philippines? Meron nang customs tax? Kasi I’m thinking of buying an iPad from there, mas mura pa sa local stores dito! Kaso, like everybody else, I’m afraid of the corrupt customs officials. Please email me po! :D Thanks!
